Customizations: Protontricks Launch protontricks with "protontricks --gui", select Death End re;Quest, select standard wineprefix, choose Windows-DLL and scroll down and mark "xact_x64", then click "Ok". Next select "Start winecfg", go to "Libraries" tab and add new override for library "xactengine3_7". Add and apply and close the windows.
Initially blackscreened at intro and was unplayable.
Ran the command: WINEPREFIX=~/.steam/debian-installation/steamapps/compatdata/1113000/pfx/ winetricks wmp9 quartz devenum
Works flawlessly now.
Go to https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install for mf workaround and install it to the game's wine prefix.
No bugs or glitches encountered, also works with default proton and proton experimental in my experience.
Works fine with Proton Experimental
not playable natively - controller not supported error, whether controller is present or not which prevents gameplay.
Tried using sc-controller, different controllers, enabling, disabling, re-enabling steam input for xbox controller and nothing worked.
Game runs perfectly well with GE Proton
