Runs just fine out-of-the-box. Just slower than expected.
"Beautiful" Graphics settings gave about 70 FPS for 2012 quality. More optimization needed.
Black screen then it crashes
Tried Proton GE 5.21-GE-1 and 6.1-GE-2. Also tried Crysis Warhead patch. And PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%
for launch options. Nothing worked.
Some performance degradation and stability issues but otherwise very playable.
Usually I get roughly 200+ FPS but occasionally see dips below 100 FPS and some stuttering.
Had the game crash on me twice in 30 minutes.
100% Borked. Refuses To Launch
Tried changing Nvidia Drivers, Different Proton Versions, Various Launch Options. Nothing works so far.

Use Glorious Eggroll's latest Proton build. Once you get that going it works just fine.
At 1360x768 the menu looks a little fuzzy, but not unusable.
Returning to the game after switching to a different workspace yields either a black screen or a missing window.
No audio after the intro logos. Put in: 'WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xaudio2_7=n,b" PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=90 PROTON_LOG=1 %command%' for launch options and it worked like a charm!
Minor issues downloading mods
As long you don't do too much multiplayer stuff, this game runs ALMOST perfectly.
After a couple hours of gameplay, textures stop rendering in Reach.
Co-Op Campaign, and Matchmaking are both borked due to Easy Anti-Cheat. However, private Firefight games and the like still work just fine.
Borked. Crashes when starting "Free Flight"
Tried Glorious Eggroll's 5.21-GE-1 Proton with PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
. Menus after the inital menu were just black blobs and it crashed when trying to start a flight.
Lots of small artifacting instances, especilly around bodies of water.
Just like Skyrim was prone to, Oblivion crashes every 15-20 minutes or so. Save frequently!
