The need GE Proton aside, Agarest Generations of War is now playable with few clicks away.
minor audio cracking noises
If it has more stability, it deserves a higher rank (Gold), considering the bugs are limited to audio cracking noises in videos. Aside from this issue, it offers the same experience I had when playing on Windows.
Frequent Crashes
I had to use btop frequently to kill the process. After half an hour of trying to play, I only managed to get past the main menu once, and the first time I selected a dungeon, the game already crashed, and I was forced to exit. Will this game ever be playable? I don't understand the Gold rank; any dungeon selection can potentially crash the game.
With Protontricks and by deleting the dungeon description videos, I managed to run the game on all versions of Proton 9, both GE and the one

Screen issues without enabling "Emulate Virtual Desktop" on winecfg
Select "Properties" -> "Installed Files" -> "Browse" -> Enter directory "Common" -> "MOVIES" -> thum -> delete all videos here.
Both Stick's and Wrathix's posts are helpful—just follow the steps, but don’t worry about the Proton version.
Still crashing. That's unplayable for any gamer.
