Fluffacorn, also Free Melee

This game is not good but if you did want to play it, it's entirely playable.
Not sure if it would have run better on Windows, but the performance was very hit or miss. Still entirely playable though.
There are some stutters, not sure if it's because of the game or because of Proton, but it never dipped below 30fps and usually stuck around 60fps static. This is still not a good game.
Works out of the box.
Note that multiplayer is on and off with the game in general, even on Windows and Mobile. If multiplayer does not work for you, it may not be Linux's fault. The server actually started struggling during quite a few of my games, and even my friends on Windows had issues.
All respawn needs to do is enable Linux support.
Let respawn know that we want Apex on linux! EAC natively works with Wine and Proton, and all they have to do is enable the support for it in the EAC SDK.
It runs very slightly better than windows, but it's nothing to write home about. Does not feel like a compromise, at all.
Sometimes the shaders load in stuttering for a bit, but it's never happened in a fight and it really only happens on the ship.
100% playable after using the community dxvk patch, I got EVERYTHING from my windows build working. This includes custom crosshairs, 120 FOV, and my superglide binds. You can find said patch at https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/t5xrho/dxvk_state_cache_for_fixing_stutter_in_apex/
Runs pretty perfect compared to windows, disabling NVIDIA Reflex fixed every crash issue for me.
SteamDeck=1 %command%
The game will crash signficantly more often than it should, this was fixed by me disabling NVIDIA Reflex and DLSS. Have never crashed since.

Check out GloriousEggroll's github to learn how to install custom proton versions, specifically the proton version listed to the side of my review. The new anticheat upgrade the SCP team has done allows proton compatibility, though we don't know how long that will last.
