seems like others had issus on Linux devices with AVX 512 CPU instructions (Ryzen 7000, Intel 13th gen, etc) I'm going to chalk it up to that if someone else has seemingly figured that out already.

when grabbing the cashbox, my game turned into a vasoline smeared mess and i got about a 2 seconds per frame until i let go of the box.
