I've experienced frequent and significant lag (6-8 FPS) during combat. Other than that, game runs fine.
Several combat effects slow the game down significantly
Doesn't launch natively or with Proton
Proton (any version) won't launch the game. If the native version is launched on Steam, Steam shows the game as running, but the game itself doesn't launch.
The Steam launcher doesn't work. I launched the native version through the terminal and it works perfectly
Runs fine Proton 4.11-12 or else crashes
If Proton 4.11-12 isn't selected, the game crashes as soon as you select the 3D mode. But if it, it runs fine. I've run a full race for 2 hours and didn't encounter any problems.
For me, I had similar performance than the native version (I only tested the tutorial on the latter).
Towards the end of the game (after 40 hours of play, the game would crash more and more often).
I still had to move some files, just as described in the reports below.
Works perfectly with the native version
I"ve encountered 1 single crash so far (27 hours played)
Runs perfectly (except for the glitch in arcade games)
Played close to 200 hours, on medium settings with 30-40 FPS without any issued. I also had the issue with arcade games that play without any sounds, but that didn't bother me too much.
If you install the restoration mod, you would need to to change the cutscenes folder names with uppercase letters everywhere, and replace the new files with the old ones. Or else the cutscenes with the restored content will just load indefinetly.
Works generally well, except some freezing issues
Alt+tabbing, exiting from the menu, or notifications from my DE appearing all make the display freeze.
Closing the game through Alt+F4 closes it properly without freezes.
