with d9vk no bundled ("PROTON_USE_D9VK=1") you now only need to rename the "Borderlands.exe" to "Launcher.exe". performance is superb.
ran out of the box, but had to lower settings to lowest and resolution to 720p to get 30-60 fps.
used 64bit version, begins to stutter after some time (frame drops every few sec after ~60min)
crashes often on exit, played on low gfx settings too get good perf in loaded scenes...
run without launcher, 1 crash while changing gfx settings, otherwise fine

mods on the remote host as well as as client can crash the game
The Launcher crashes with steam overlay or in mod selection. Uses MediaFramework
..., but with the new roguelite gamemode (chaos wastes) and multiplayer with other "modded realm"-player being available, it can be enjoyable.
With the "temporary_launcher_workaround" beta you can skip the launcher, BUT you need to add "-eac-untrusted" to the launch options!
DX12 does not work.
