Pretty much worked out of the box. Had some weird selecting buildings and units issue. Could be hardware, could be game, could be linux
I could not launch it natively, had to force it onto Proton to get it to work
The game itself is a janky pron game, but despite the left-click issue (fixed by clicking out of the game and back in) it works fine
Sometimes clicking out of the game would lead to the left click not registering in the game
The rear-view cameras sometimes bug out, but that was only when I was using OBS to record.
Followed other instructions and installed binkw32 and d3dx9

I'm so glad I can play one of my favoritest games after finally figuring out how Wine works
Lots of lag
If you don't go down to Proton 5.13, it ain't gonna work
For whatever reason, the game wouldn't start with Experimental. I guessed Proton 6.3 and it worked perfectly.
Previously I tried Proton 6, and it crashed after going onto the battle map. Switched to Proton 9 and we're good to go
It ran out of the box, no issues whatsoever
I guess proton has gotten better in the past few years... every other report has said it would die immediatly
