This game is so to speak as playable as on windows. Origin overlay is a bit weird, but the game works fine.

Game froze in one of my sessions, other than that it has been very stable.
Installed .NET 3.5, directx and win10 packages with protontricks.
Framerate drops here and there, but I had that on Windows aswell.
Kept on getting "can't get line in file" error. Had to copy patch files to the folder called "final" in L.A. Noire's directory: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/L.A._Noire#Crash-to-desktop_on_Windows_8

Fix brought up by Limaeu. Install cracked version of the launcher. Download the darkness client from here https://igg-games.com/the-darkness-317914694-ii-limited-edition-free-download.html and extract the content when it's done, then open the ISO file and copy the DarknessII.exe from the PROPHET file to the directory you have Darkness II downloaded. Pretty simple.
