The default mouse/keyboard layout works surprisingly well, especially because the game is turn based. However, sometimes it is not quite clear which button to press since the game only gives keyboard prompts, but once memorized it is very enjoyble.
Requires many modifications to play on servers (esp. roleplay), possibly custom modifications for each gamemode required.
Runs significantly slower than the native version.
My german keyboard layout is not being used correctly (both on native + proton), instead it always uses the american layout.
On the Steam Deck I do not recommend running this game under Proton, the performance is extremely lacking. The default native Linux version seems to crash a lot. However, the 64 bit beta branch of the native version seems to not crash at all for me and runs with great performance.
Can only maintain 60fps on the Steam Deck on some maps. Does not fall below 30fps on the lowest settings on any map.
Worked out of the box including multiplayer. Performance was very good, even at high/ultra settings.
No different than playing on Windows, performance is great and no issues whatsoever
I set the refresh rate to 40Hz. Very rarely dips below 40FPS when transitioning to a new area with dips down to 20FPS. Other than that, FPS is almost always stable at 40 using the default settings. Found no gameplay issues/bugs whatsoever.
Steam Deck can not quite maintain 60FPS on medium settings but never drops below 30FPS using 30FPS lock at greatly increased battery life.
The default recommended Steam Input profile does not show button prompts correctly and displays incorrect HTML-Tags on the main menu. Changing to the gamepad layout fixed these issues.
Starts a launcher before starting the game which cannot be navigated with the controller. However, it is easy to select the correct options using the touchscreen.
