There are some crackling problems. "PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=50" is a decent enough fix alone, but high CPU loads cause crackling again. "gamemoderun %command%" optimizes CPU load just enough to where crackling is a minimum.

There is a one pixel wide border around the window in borderless fullscreen, exclusive fullscreen does not have this issue. Alt-Tabbing still works just fine in exclusive fullscreen.
The game itself ultimately runs just fine on linux, in fact it seems to run better than on windows. Only problems experienced where minor and fixable with launch commands.
