Multiplayer didn't work when it ran natively, but when i forced steam to run it with proton, everything worked fine
Without Forced proton the game couldn't load my save games from the cloud, nor connect to other players. With proton everything worked fine.

Started on my integrated GPU first, had to adjust the launch options to force it to use the dedicated GPU. With the integrated i had about 2 fps with minimal graphic settings, with dedicated about 70-120 with maximal settings. Small fps drops occur from time to time but nothing seriously irritating.
Game always started on wrong monitor (no matter whcih one was the primary one or in which order i plugged them into my pc). Solved this problem by disallowing the windowmanager to manage the window in protontricks.
it takes some time to start but that may be because of my hdd. Everything else ist perfect.
Works well
The performance is not as good as in windows, but it runs smoothly at about 150fps average on my pc (on windows 180fps average). When i first started the game it took some time (about 1min) till it was playable (i think it had to load textures or something like that), but since then i had no problems.
