Refresh Rate set to 40hz
When the Steam Deck comes out of sleep mode, the inputs in menus may be completely ignored randomly. The only solution is to restart the game. So avoid putting the Deck in sleep mode when playing this game.
Use of Proton Experimental The game doen't detect the inputs of the steam deck with the default version of Proton
TDP limited to 7 watt and refresh rate limited to 40. I have between 3 and 4 hours of play time on a full charge.
The text above the characters when exploring is a bit too small.
As I said, the game does not read the Steam Deck entries with the default version of Proton.

The game doens't detect the inputs from the Steam Deck when using the default version of Proton. Using Proton experimental has fixed this problem.
It works but will freeze when you take a screenshot. You can unfreeze the game by opening the menu (escape key)
protontricks --no-background-wineserver 1202540 wmp9
Same as previous reports, it needs wmp9 for cinematics. Also, in more recent versions of GE-Proton, the options menu didn't work. And in GE-Proton10 the sound doesn't work at all, it's just loud beeping (I recommend not wearing headphones if you want to test it, it could damage your ears).
When you start the game for the first time, it is in windowed mode. On this one, the entries are all shifted and it is a bit difficult to modify the game options. You have to set it as fullscreen.
Every time I run the game, the input options are all changed. I have to go into the options and reset the default values. Also, with the default layout, the camera doesn't stop to spin. It is fixed by using the official layout or a community one.
With the default configuration used by steam, the game stores the save files in a weird place and does not sync them with the cloud. By changing the proton version, the game uses the game folder for the save files and the sync with the cloud works again. Beware, you have to manually move your save file if you change the default configuration after playing the game. With the default configuration, the save files are stored in your .local/share folder.
On the default configuration used by steam, the game kept crashing in a cinematic. No problem with Proton 5.13.
installed cinepak and directshow
It didn't launch the cinematics with Proton, and didn't run at all on Proton-GE. Once cinepak and directshow were installed through Protontricks, it woked perfectly with Proton-GE. I haven't tested it with Proton, but it should be fine too.
