Proton-5.21-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
I used Glorious Eggroll's Proton-5.21-GE-1 fork of Proton. Compared to the previous GE Proton, fps dramatically improved (in the second Dante mission i got 60 fps (capped) instead of 30-40 fps). Stutters are less common with this version, but they still happen. Especially with some of the tricks of Trish.
The stutters are 2-3 second long.
Otherwise, the performance is good. Didn't crash even once.
I also use PROTON_FORCE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=1 launch command.
Stuttering when heavy effects are rendered in the game.
The game doesn't launch at all.
I get a wine error: "Cannot load library libcocos2d.dll" Protontricks doesn't have this dll.
A typical gamer wouldn't enjoy this because it isn't playable out of the box (because of black textures).
After installing vcrun2008 with protontricks gui I got rid of black textures and the game is fully playable now.
Valve, pls fix
