Either freezes on startup or can't connect to its server
Tried different Proton versions, stable 6, 7, 8, beta 9, experimental
On older Proton versions it starts fine, but gives error code 10009 asking to "update the platform". Looks like it can't connect to its servers. On newer Proton (8 and up) it just freezes on the startup and could only be killed. Tried some run options people mentioned - no difference.
Explicitly disable Steam input in game settings in Steam, otherwise controllers not always detected or detected as a wrong model (I have PS4 controllers).
On 4k screen had to set 1k textures, 0.5 resolution scale and medium antialiasing (TAA) for it not to lag. Any better settings make it barely playable.
Origin installs fine, but when running the game Steam thinks it runs but nothing really happens.
Doesn't work.
Played locally with two PS4 controllers attached via Bluetooth. Everything works smoothly and no problems noticed.
Had to enable Proton 6.3-4 in Steam Play settings for other titles to be able to install it.
