This game runs almost flawlessly, and the only flaws are due to age of the game rather than platform.

Windows 10 needs a sound patch, both Ubuntu and Windows need wide-screen patch.

Very occasional and minor microstutter when the game camera pans to previously unrendered area, this is really only noticeable on cutscenes as they're otherwise buttery smooth. This does happen on Windows 10 as well but the microstutter is barely ever noticeable there as they seemingly last shorter time. This doesn't really effect the enjoyability value of this title though.
