Works great out of the box without any issues
5.9-GE-2-MF GloriousEggroll
Sometimes after playing for a while the mouse would become extremely choppy, reducing the polling rate to 125 fixed it
Went from running maxed out 60fps+ on windows to 60fps on medium graphics on manjaro
Sometimes you can play for hours on end without a crash, and other times it just randomly crashes to desktop with no message
Using DX12 causes many visual artifacts that render the game unplayable, also reducing volumetric lighting from max to high while in the hub capped the FPS to 2 until I restarted the game and adjusted everything from within the main menu
If you play with a controller and have no need to alt tab you will have next to no issues aside from the performance downgrade
Proton-5.11-GE-1-MF GloriousEggroll

Mouse becomes stuttery after a few dozen minutes of playing. Controller sometimes goes by unrecognized, but after setting "Steam Input Pre-Game Setting" to forced off I've no longer had any problems.
Used to get +70fps on windows with the HD Texture addon, now I have to play on medium with textures on high
If you alt+tab too much it is almost guaranteed to crash, playing on windowed and manually clicking outside the game while on a menu seems to kind of circumvent this most of the time
If playing with certain proton versions 3D models become extremely buggy and make the game unplayable, doesn't seem to happen with the newest version though
Although the game isn't the best optimized game out there it still runs very similar to windows and is an amazing experience
It can take some tinkering to get the game running properly, but the newer proton GE versions run the game pretty much flawlessly
During 2 out of 3 sessions of playing the game the audio was extremely stuttery and crackly, but it fixed itself by the third session and the game now runs flawlessly
