Game won't start. looks like a missing dll and I have no idea how to add it (although I'm looking into it).
According to the PROTON LOG=1 launch option output, the error seems to be dispatch_exception L"Failed to load System.Private.CoreLib.dll (error code 0x8007046C)", which is referencing a dll that (in my brief research) seems to be for some form of cryptography. No clue why that would be needed in this game, but hoping I find something soon-ish or that it is removed from the dependencies.
Showed the splash screen, then promptly crashed.
I have tried proton experimental, proton 6.3-2, and proton 5.0-10; each with no launch options, -safe launch option, and the 3d option suggested by someone else in this thread. I would love to play this, but it doesn't seem to work at the moment.
Ate all my ram and had swap for desert

I have 32 gigs of ram, and after several minutes of the game showing the splash screen without booting, I checked btop to find that ram utilization of space engineers 2 alone had climbed to 29.9GB. before I could stop the process, everything froze completely. Guess I'll have to wait a bit to try this again. :(
It also may have been trying to use the intel graphics instead of my amd card, but that shouldn't have stopped it from booting I wouldn't think.
