Thoroughly booked. Menu is frozen and unresponsive.
Tried GE, Proton Stable, and Proton Experimental, all with no luck. Also tried a few launch options configurations. All had the same result.
Game starts and plays the splash screens, but as soon as the menu starts up, and prompts me to sign in, it becomes completely non-repsonsive. Can't click or use any buttons. If I tab away, the game becomes a black screen.
No luck getting the game to launch at all. Tried default, experimental, and GE versions of proton
Pretty much works out of the box. Runs pretty similar to windows, maybe ~10fps less. (Getting around 100)
Very playable. Infinite's performance has never been stellar in my experience (at least on my hardware) but my Pop OS was pretty comparable to Windows.
Game used to work fine on Linux, but now it will not launch.
PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 VKD3D_CONFIG=no_upload_hvv %command% -USEALLAVAILABLECORES
When I click Launch, Steam acts like it's launching, and the button changes to "Stop" instead of "Launch." But the game window never launches and I'm never able to play.
Co-op with Windows players is not stable. 343 has said Linux-to-Linux co-op works, but Linux-to-Windows is not supported. Missions will start, but disconnect very quickly.
PVP Multiplayer works with no problems. Co-op only works with other Linux users.
Easy Anti-Cheat button was still reversed for me. I have to click "anti-cheat disabled" to launch with anti cheat enabled, and vice versa.
Game performance is good, no issues with framerate or crashes, beyond the normal MCC chaos (Halo 2 co-op is broken on all versions of MCC).
Co-op only works with other Linux users. This is a known issue, though it's not known if there are plans to fix it. If you launch a mission in co-op with Windows/Xbox users, the mission will launch, but will disconnect within a few minutes.
Unable to capture in OBS. Window Capture goes blank when in-game (interestingly, when tabbed away, the window capture will update). Screen capture is always black.
Works with proton GE 8.25 and proton experimental. GE 7.55 did not work.
Performance problems are likely a result of the game being very intensive, not from the linux config.
Crashed on startup with GE proton. With Experimental, I still had to set DLSS to Ultra Performance to get the first level to load
With DLSS on "performance" and RTX on High, I get what feels like 30-60fps. Steam's in-game FPS counter is not showing up in this title so I can't verify.
