EA forced removal of Linux Support from the Anti-Cheat
EA removed Linux support from the Anti-Cheat so the game no longer works. This is completely an EA issue not an Easy Anti-Cheat issue, they even called EA out on their poor coding.
Installs but will not run.
I was able to install it, but when I go to launch it it will say Launching, Running, then crashes before ever showing the loading screen or menus. I have tried multiple different Proton versions, even GE, tried verifying game files and un-installing an reinstalling the game and with no luck
I loaded in and everything looked, sounded and acted as normal. I was able to play and had a pretty decent time playing. Would forget you're on Linux. I didn't have any issues what so ever.
I am running it at 4k and it looks amazing, the sound is amazing and the game play is as expected as you would on Windows. Happy to see EA giving us at least one decent FPS game.

I installed CachyOS after running into issues with another arch based distro.
Was having issues with crashing every so often or stuttering or both.
Changed from 4k to 2k, moved from 144FPS to 60FPS and set it to DX12 and still had issues.

That another user tried with a proton 9-4 and it seems to be working flawlessly with the latest version of Proton-CachyOS-10.0-20250601-SLR-x86_84_v3
