I would rate this bronze or silver. Inability to use common keys was annoying enough, but borked graphics is a game breaker.
Screen routinely went black in well-lit areas; when not black the colors are split into separate red/green/blue.
Number pad not recognised on keyboard
Very jittery graphics
Tried Proton Experimental, 6.3 and 5.13. The game quits before showing anything.
Crashes at splash screen
Disabled uplay overlay and added "large address aware" flag as recommended by other reviewers, but this didn't help. Far Cry 3 works okay, so not sure why the same setup isn't working for Blood Dragon.
It's okay for a while, but if you like to be able to actually finish your single player campaigns, look elsewhere.
Got about halfway through the game and now each attempt to launch just takes me to the ubisoft connect window. Can't change settings, attempts to connect fail, attempts to reset password fail. The game is now borked for me. What a waste of time and money.

A blank background opens after clicking PLAY in steam. When running steam from terminal, it reports:

However, googling doesn't say how to fix that. I do have gstreamer installed.
Game quits at random points during character creation.
The game suffers from serious performance and optimization issues when played with proton.
Can play a lot of the game without too many issues except for strange rendering which makes everything look like it has oily rainbow patches
Nearly at the end of the New Orleans section, cannot continue. Game consistently crashes when looking down at a reflective night time street from a high building.
