Runs great, Same performance as windows if not better
There are many shutter at first but just follow this guide (dxvk state cache for fixing stutter in apex) and shutters will leave you forever.
if you wanna tweak video setting files to get even better performance you can find it in:
"~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/1172470/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Saved Games/Respawn/Apex/local/".
for making it read only enter this command "chmod -w videoconfig.txt"

the game is in very better state compared to last seasons (i played last season and it had so many problems such as slow skin loading and random freezes, but now it has no problems like that), played for couple of hours with directx 11, had no issues, my game is capped at 240 fps and most places i got max fps
anti cheat issue

It was working yesterday but now it's broken due to anti cheat you get this error:
'The client failed an anti-cheat backend check'
Despite resolution bugs and Ubisoft being pain in the ass, The overall exprience is great

When game launches it's fullscreen but it's small section of screen that actually shows the game (top left of the screen) and other part of screen is blank, But you can fixing it by changing window type to Window and switch it back to Fullscreen.
You can't alt + tab if your are using tiling window manager with Fullscreen, and Borderless window is so buggy that even i can't explain it here, I found a fix for using Fullscreen and be able to alt + tab, first install protontricks and then execute this command:protontricks 289650 winecfg
then in the opened window go to Graphics and enable Emulate a virtual desktop then write your native resoltion and click ok, then execute this:protontricks 289650 mwo=enabled
now you may be able to alt + tab in Fullscreen but it also may create more bugs when using multimonitor setup.

it's unplayable with Nvidia graphic card (two friend of mine tested and coudn't get it working),
with AMD it was very stable before season 4 update, but now it crashes sometimes (don't know if it's even caused by proton or the game just has bugs, but the crashes are very rarely). also if you have cpu with lot's of logical core (more than 18 logical core) you may crash a lot and game be unplayable but you can fix it by using:
WINE_CPU_TOPOLOGY=18:0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17 %command%
launch option, this will force wine to just use eighteen cores, you can play with the numbers and set higher numbers to see which one works best for you

Native version works great and is totally playable but my main problem with it was that steam overlay will not shown in game, So i tested windows versions with proton too, The performance on exact save with High quality ground textures and Medium shadows was:
Native => 156 fps
Proton - OpenGL => 155 fps (maybe same as native)
Proton - DirectX => 119 fps (surprisingly it performs worse than OpenGL)
for using MangoHUD on native version you need to edit ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Northgard/linux/run.sh and replace LD_PRELOAD= with LD_PRELOAD=libMangoHud_dlsym.so:libMangoHud.so in each line.
TLDR, Proton version with OpenGL is better
Performance issues
Game is playable but have so much FPS drop while playing, if you have decent hardware you will have a good session without any problems but if not like me, sorry game is not ready for linux yet, i get much better performance for this game on Windows. I get 60 fix fps on windows but on linux it's 45 - 50 and while playing and moving in the game it drops to 30 and even lower.
