- Set TDP Limit to 12W
- Set GPU Clock to 1300
- Set screen refresh to 60hz and FPS limit to 30
- Set to medium settings
Had originally set to 40z and 40FPS but kept dipping into the 30s.
The game worked pretty much flawlessly out of the box. I did make some performance tweaks to make it a bit more smooth.
The only other issue I had was with Ubisoft's Launcher. You need to sign in EVERY time you play. This can be remedied with offline mode, but wasn't too much of a bother for me.
It was mostly plug and play with a couple small tweaks. The game plays flawlessly though.
Once signed into Ubisoft Connect turn on "Start in Offline Mode". This way you don't have to re-enter your password each time you launch.
Set to 40hz and 40FPS, Lowered in-game quality to "normal". Get's about 3 hours of play.
Once signed into Ubisoft Connect turn on "Start in Offline Mode" to avoid entering the password every time.
Cloud saves don't work
Used the left trackpad as a character selector with an alt mode of hotboar action.
It was at times difficult to read because of how small the text is, but was not too much of a strain.
Played entirely on the Steam Deck. Took some tweaking of controls to get just right, but once that was done I was able to enjoy. I did play on "Story" mode though due to switching between characters and the hotbar not being the most ideal. Outside of that it was a near flawless experience.
I have only played through the first 20 minutes or so but the control layout used shouldn't be too difficult ot get used to.
