EasyAntiCheat
The latest Update brings EasyAntiCheat which is needed against those hackers, BUT it is not playable for Linux with Proton. Ingame Message "Easy Anti Cheat is not initialized"..
sometimes a higher latency ingame, maybe gameservers have a bad time?
For EasyAntiCheat to work, you have to install a Steam-Tool called "Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime".

with OpenGL it crashes sometimes, the devs are aware of that problem. with Vulkan some framedrops occur, also the devs are aware of that problem.
proton-5.0-7-alyx-2.tar.gz is needed
To play the game after the last update, you have to install this specific Proton Version. You can find it here: https://github.com/stevenlafl/Proton/releases/tag/proton-5.0-7-alyx-2
some connection problems, but could be a game problem.
Only when VSync was activated. without VSync it runs flawlessly and better.
