Downscaling the ingame resolution to 1152x720 (the 3rd option I believe)
FPS locked at 40 in Quick Settings. FPS unlocked in FH5 for consistent frame times
Allow Tearing set to True
TDP locked at 12
Setting up FSR through quick panel with sharpness set to 2
I get approx. 1h10m out of the LCD model.
It's hard to read from a distance if you're playing with a controller and it away from you, but holding the Deck it's readable.
Vibration dies on external controllers if you lock the device. Its pretty inconsistent so I cant report a root cause, though I believe this is an issue with FH5 itself as it's present on Windows as well
Hitches only every so often in intensive areas. Input delay with tearing enabled is still prominent, but only marginally.
These tweaks and tinkers are only to save battery life. The LCD steam deck runs this game easily at 60FPS without all the tweaks, and would work easily under Linux in my experience.
