Crucial part is to use Proton-5.11-GE-3-MF and perform few protontricks commands. I had no luck with newer proton versions.

First I did:
protontricks 244210 dotnet48
and than:
protontricks 244210 -q d3dcompiler_43 d3dx11_43
Servers are not running.
Game is stuck on connecting even before the main menu.
Works out of the box with Proton
You have to Alt-Tab twice in fullscreen.
I did not experience any of the problems that people recently reported. Maybe developers already fixed it. I'm able to start and finish a multiplayer match. Runs flawlessly. I noticed that Steam installs easy anti-cheat on the first game launch, so maybe try to reinstall the game if you have EAC problems.
Excellent experience overall
In fullscreen, you have to Alt-Tab twice in a row to switch windows. The solution is to use the windowed borderless mode.
The game runs much better with Proton than the native port. Native port performance in endgame on big map feels bad and is laggy. I didn't notice this with Proton.
With DirectX 12 performace seems to be much worse. I recommend to use DirectX 11.
Missing audio in menu. In-game audio is fine.
Game is capturing mouse. Unable to properly Alt-Tab. Windowed mode works fine.
Experienced some random crashes.
