You'll have to launch the game from the command line (which is not trivial) if you want to pass any environment variables or flags to it.

There is a problem with the game's launcher where it doesn't propagate the flags defined in launch commands. So my DRI_PRIME=1 flag doesn't take effect for the actual game, forcing it to run using the integrated graphics, causing slowness
