Fonctionne parfaitement sans paramétrages particuliers.
Le fond d'écran du menu pricipal n'apparait pas et affiche une texture étange, rien de dérangeant.
Il peut arriver que le jeu ne prenne pas la priorité sur les performances matérielles (10 fps au démmarage). Pour ce résoudre, il suffit de Alt-Tab deux fois et plus aucun problemes à signaler.
Aucun probleme
De mon coté le jeu se lance sans probleme. Juste réduire les graphisme car des problèmes d'optimisations ont l'air présents.
Même avec une bonne config, le jeu tourne a 60/80 fps en graphisme max. J'ai du réduire les graphismes au niveau moyen pour avec 144 fps stable avec ma configuration.
Jouez-y, le jeu est vraiment bon!
The game use to work pretty fine before. Since the update 5.6.0, the game just can't run anymore.
The previous updates had destroyed the game's performance. For 1 day, the game was playable correctly. Since today's patch (Update 5.6.0 / 22 jan 2025), the game simply does not start. I have tried several versions of Proton, nothing works. The game crashes while loading EAC.
After contacting the game support regarding the current situation of the game on Linux, here is their response:
"Thank you for reaching out to THE FINALS support team. We truly appreciate you bringing this situation to our attention and for providing those additional details---it means a lot.
I understand how frustrating it can be when things don’t work as expected, especially regarding compatibility. While our game can run on Linux platforms, I regret to inform you that we don’t have official support for Linux at this time. Unfortunately, this may lead to significant challenges for Linux users and could impact your ability to play smoothly.
Although I can’t guarantee that official Linux support will be added in the future, please know that our development team is aware of this concern. We’re always looking for ways to improve, and there’s a possibility that progress could be made down the line.

Hoping that this is a goodbye and not a farewell.
Since the change of development team and game launcher, the game finally launches! However, there are still optimization issues.
Like on windows, the game optimisation is pretty bad but on linux the game have big stutter issues.
Depending on your version of Proton, you will experience more or less server kicks (no crashes). I recommend using Proton Experimental or GE-Proton to limit server kicks.
Be attentive to the version of Proton you are using, as it can resolve the kick issues when starting a game.
