Alt-tabbing with fullscreen just kept the screen black, had to use windowed.
Tried vanilla public servers.
You will need to separately install Proton BattlEye Runtime, else connecting to servers will fail with Login timed out, WaitAuthPlayerLoginState or AuthPlayerLoginState.
Works flawlessy on Proton, unlike the Native Linux version which I experienced huge input lag and stuttering on.
Some text such as console font is way too small to read, you need to edit the font size from the steam config files.
Trying to launch into Mission 1 in Story mode gets stuck in "Loading Data".
Game launches, everything seems to work correctly in main menu and settings. Trying to launch into Mission 1 in Story mode gets stuck in "Loading Data". Weren't able to try out Star Challenges or other modes as I'm not as far in the game.
Proton versions tried: 6.3-7, 6.19-GE-2
Works flawlessly on Proton, better than Native which has problems such as scrolling goes wrong direction.
In my experience it has terrible performance, might be dependent on hardware. My GTX 760 seems to run terrible.
Slight crackling on the launch animation which only shows up on GE Proton, official Proton's just show a missing video color screen. No crackling in-game.
I attempted to run this under Proton and saw terrible performance, around 5 fps with 1080p and all low settings. With the same hardware and settings under Windows I was able to play the game smoothly between 50-60 fps no drops. It might have something to do with older hardware (GTX 760 in use temporarily) but it's unplayable at the moment for me.
Doesn't launch through Steam.
Browsing local files and launching the actual .exe starts and seems to be running but cannot connect as it's not launched through steam. Proton logs doesn't show errors. Tried 5 different Proton versions.
