As a free game to play while being not sweaty about it, its pretty good. I can finally delete my Windows.

Need to manually kill steam overlay on systemprocess
It works like a normal MMO
Before installing, I made some pre-installation steps like in this guide (https://gist.github.com/intrnl/27d710196d2bc9fe3ca19f6a9349899b) where I created another ext4 partition (because I am using btrfs as main filesys) then flag the steam library there as +F. Also I would suggest maybe try to have some automation/command to kill/stop the gameoverlay when launching the game or else pso2 will get stuck at black screen.
In my conclusion, you need to play the game first on a mobile then link it with steam. (For new players)

I am a new player, and was just waiting for the game to be playable on linux since launch. So when I tried it, I am stuck in the beginning of the game where I can hear the sounds of rain and that's it. I tried to follow the things mentioned here and from other forums, using the patched exe; tried every option of proton. But the supposed transition of a dialogue after the rain is not showing only blank screen.
Since I see some posts here that they can run the game, I assume they don't need to play the intro playthrough. Will try to install it on my mobile first if I can.
