I just deleted the prefix for arkham asylum and copied a prefix from another game that used .net 3.5 and pasted it where the arkham asylum one was. Got a couple errors at first but game ran fine.
I can get to the launcher screen and the game starts but freezes after 5-10 seconds. Have to change the prefix to xp to get .net installed.
You have to switch the prefix to xp to get .net installed then switch it back to Windows 7. The launcher will launch but if you press settings it will crash. The game will launch but freezes after about 10 seconds. You can workaround the freeze by using PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 in launch option but there are graphical issues in the menus and less so in the game.
I got it working by changing the prefix to windows xp so that .net can install. The .net install takes a very long time (about 20-25 minutes) . The game runs well but has some stutters. The main problem left is that my xbox 360 controller kept freezing up, I could get it to work again by pressing both shoulder buttons and both triggers simultaneously several times but it's very annoying.
With this driver only the game works fine visually. The controller is unusable however making it horrible to play.
Just used the -onethread launch option and install xact with winetricks. In limited play seems to work perfectly.
Works fine in offline mode. Online crashes, I'm guessing it has something to do with trying to connect or something. Tested the play now single player. Needs xact I think.
Without controller support it's not nearly as fun.
XBOX 360 controller both wired and wireless would not work
Now, for some reason, my controller worked fine. Game is only missing the initial video. Plays just like windows.
I played for more than an hour and the game ran flawlessly without having to do anything.
White outline around all players
Game runs fine but all players have a white outline that makes the whole game look weird
Seems to work perfectly with some wine cfg tweaks. select and add one by one , and , leave them to (native, builtin), (copied from a steam post). That's it.
Only thing wrong is that it doesn't show cutscenes. Should be Gold not platinum. Platinum is for games that work perfectly out of the box.
