Plays out of the box without any major issues
sometimes the noises from the rover or buggy are still playing even though the vehicles stand still. once the sound was even playing but the buggy was nowhere near me
Double monitor setup is a bit tricky, the game does not capture the mouse so the cursor can move to the other screen. I only had the options "windowed" and "fullscreen windowed" in the setting, both resulted in the same behaviour.
This can be a bit annoying at times but the game overall works great.
Stuttering and crashing
some stuttering which was due to shader caching being disabled in order to get the first mission even loading
the game crashed always at the exact location in the game
I had to disable shader caching completely in order to get the first single player mission even loading. After that, I was able to play the first mission. However, the game crashed always at the exact location making it impossible to play.
Game crashes after every single player mission, graphics have to be on medium, frequent freezes of the game when it loads a new area
Resolution and textures seem blurred due to the low settings needed for the game to even be playable.
Graphics have to be set on medium in order to have a somewhat playable state. The game sometimes freezes for a few seconds to load everything in, altough the graphics.
The game crashes after every chapter of the single player campaign. REstarting the game puts you right back were you've left off, so no progression loss.
set PROTON_FORCE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=1 %command% as launch options, the game ran smooth for me after that
Turns out setting PROTON_FORCE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=1 %command% in launch options resolves most of the issues. Some lag still happens now and then when loading new areas but the game doesn't crash anymore after every single player mission
Multiplayer runs perfectly fine, Singleplayer won't even start
Initial loading of a map a bit laggy but smooth afterwards
Won't even start the game, tried all available Proton versions to no avail
I've also tried to get it to run using PlayOnLinux and Lutris, but neither of them did the trick...
Runs smooth on ultra settings perfectly out of the box
I've encountered some frame drops in the cutscenes, but I think they are capped anyways. Initial loading of the level takes a bit long, but it runs perfeclty smooth after the loading screen.
Runs perfectly out of the box without any issues
Initial loading of the game might take a little longer than usual
