The game runs perfectly. If you don't disable Esync then all the surface textures will be very low resolution and blurry. Also, when loading each map, the game asks you to press spacebar but doesn't respond to any keys. As a workaround I have to plug in a DS4 controller and push the A (X) button to progress. Then when the map loads I unplug the controller and press the spacebar to change control schemes. Every other control option works fine, tab is perminately mapped to a terminal command however.
Runs perfectly besides a few crashes while configuring graphics settings, during early game cutscene and on startup. A few hours into the game, no crashes occurred during long play sessions, not sure what causes it. Disabling Esync seems to make startup crashes more likely. Runs 60+ FPS on max graphics and no noticeable frame drops.
The game will crash at the opening movie unless you install wmp9, quartz, devenum using this command: protontricks 1113000 wmp9 quartz devenum
Audio for voicelines has crackling
Alt-Tab locks your mouse in the game window area, the game cannot be reentered after Alt-Tab and occasionally it does not even allow for use of the terminal to force quit the game.
For some reason the game does not recognize the button layout for DS4 controller and defaults to the Xbox controller layout.
