Proton-6.21-GE-2
Some of the screenspace effects on native Amnesia:TDD seem to lack proper smoothing, and the effects are much harsher on the eyes as you can see the jagged edges of their distortion profiles. There are also issues with fullscreening, as Amnesia:TDD always launches on the wrong monitor for me, and tabbing out reveals that it's trying to force a slightly different resolution and/or framerate than what I normally run, causing all of my three monitors (3x matching 1080P 144Hz Freesync/unofficial GSync enabled) to hitch and blank for a moment both tabbing in and out. Running via Proton solves all of these issues.
As long as it performs well on your hardware and settings, it works mostly fine.
Occasional stutters.
Game Logic seemed to be failing in some fashion; Vehicles with automatic transmissions were failing to upshift properly a lot of the time.
No issues, Social VR may have a future on Linux, as long as the headsets run on it as well.
Fullscreened to wrong display. Easy fix.
Seems to perform better on Proton than native Windows. No issues found to note.
Started on the wrong monitor, rather than my default/primary monitor. Was remedied.
Maybe one day; until then I guess I'm not playing Siege anymore.
Assuming that the stuttering I experienced is just because of my NVidia Optimus on Wayland configuration, it will have no problems.
Irregular stuttering, seemed to clear up somewhat with time but never completely went away.
Ragdolls seem to be a lot stiffer when running through proton. Crashed a bike, died, and my ragdoll stayed in the bike pose, hit a pole, and acted like solid rubber. Found it hilarious.
