Just install and play, work very well, i got better performance using vulkan-headers-tkg-git, vulkan-icd-git.
I don't know if it's for my hardware but after a while the graphic gets bugged.
with proton is working very well, if you have problems with the mouse use PROTON_NO_ESYNC
Dying Light windows port have a lag mouse bug, it's do not wine or proton problem, but you can fix it using PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1

The game work very good, on alt+tab you can get stability issue but it's the game problem not about wine or proton.
The game crash using WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR=1
still have multplayer problem.
if you're getting black screen or just freezing on initial screen at game start you will need to set taskset -c 1-8 %command% , "1-8" is you CPU threads.
Launcher works but when get started say " I/O device error message"
The game opens but a warning appears that the EAC is not activated.
Even with a weak PC I run as well as on windows itself, the graphics quality is not 100% but very good, but with the last release of proton has a fall of performance with non-normal locks. Game working perfectly, don't forget to conenct a controler and i don't see update progress of launcher but is working.
using 4.21-GE-1 but I had to use regular proton to update the launcher last update
I always played Warframe on win or Linux and the game is a crash domain, be careful not to confuse your crash with wine or proton problems.
Need WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xaudio2_7=n,b" or proton-GE
Need to wait cache compile to better performance.
game is not working with proton 5, just previous proton or Proton-GE.
Game run perfectly, no need to do more nothing, just install and run.
if you use DX12 you will need to run in full Screen.
