EA update broke the game
Tried on multiple versions of Proton
Game is broken thanks to an update. Same thing happened with BF5.
Game runs perfectly. Might occasionally have to delete the game's compatdata folder if it fails to launch.
Game runs good. Does NOT work on Proton 9 as of this report, but reverting to Proton 8 works.
Game shows splash screen, then crashes
As mentioned in title, the game doesn't go past the splash screen. Simply crashes after a few moments.
EA launcher starts, but doesn't give any options and doesn't start the game
I've tried on multiple versions of Proton including: GE 7-41, GE 7-14, Steam 7.0-5, and Steam Next (7.0-6).
Every attempt the EA launcher opens but is just a blank screen. Does not give any options and the game does not start.
I Have not tried playing with newer Proton but don't see why it wouldn't work.
Kicks you from any server after about 30 seconds due to "Anti-Cheat Violation".
Game runs very well. Some adjustments may need to be made in settings for a smooth experience but overall very good.
Great experience on Linux. Good work as always Crytek!
Game can somtimes crash when trying to open the steam overlay. Happens rarely for me though, once every few game sessions when I try accept an invite to join a lobby.
Black screen
Game starts up to a black screen with the red cursor and then crashes after a couple minutes. Have tried reverting to older versions, deleting compatdata folder, and using different launch options but none have worked.
Switched to Proton 8 and game worked properly. Not sure about latest versions.
Singplayer seems to work well, multiplayer is completely borked.
Unable to even access multiplayer menu as it says "could not connect to server". Only gives option to retry or quit the game
Game hangs on loading screen
Game does not go past the loading screen anymore. Tried multiple different versions of Proton including Version 8.0-2 and GE-Proton8-4.
If you're playing singleplayer the game seems to run fine, but multiplayer is completely broken.
Connecting to multiplayer does not work as of current.
Comes up with error.
"Ubisoft Connect has detected an unrecoverable error and must shut down. Crash dump created at C:/Program Files (x86)/Ubisoft/Ubisoft Game Launcher/crashes"
Tried clearing compatdata folder and veryifying game files.
