Haven't tried proton 10, but there is no reason to - game is already running as good as it can.
The game probably works fine, however because of region-blocked servers I am not able to log in (Network error)
DXVK_ASYNC=1 RADV_PERFTEST=GPL %command%
After getting to the login menu, there is always a network error kind of popup, from what I found on the internet from febuary 26, 2025 game has region-blocked servers to Korea and Taiwan, which probably means the game doesn't function on windows also, if you don't have VPN.
No problem, I could even invite people through the "join game" link on my profile, like on windows
I don't know how it is even possible, but I have more FPS than I had on windows! On windows it was like 90-110, and on bazzite I have 144+! And I didn't even use GE-proton or smth! Just wow.
LD_PRELOAD="" SteamDeck=1 %command% -PSOCompileMode=1
Again, in cutscenes the audio is a bit broken, but nothing what would affect gameplay.
Sometimes in cutscenes the screen just start flashing black. However in-game it's not happening. Also sometimes I don't see how much ammo do I have, because it's saying "UnknowChar{NUM}" where NUM is probably the number of char in ascii table.
I don't know if it's the game it self which is badly optimized, or it is because of emulation, but i'm getting max 110 FPS on 720P resolution on low graphics... In practice match. In a normal one, i'm getting 60-80FPS with the same settings. However it's still better than playable, atleast for me.
Crashed one time, I have no idea why. I was playing for another our and it didn't happen again.
I couldn't start it on any other proton than this one.
LD_PRELOAD="" skips the anoying compilation of shaders, which probably does something, but there is no difference in FPS, and steam already does some vulcan shaders compilation when starting like every game so...
-PSOCompileMode=1 on the other hand, should make the game "not bug after 3 games and greatly optimize experience". Idk, I tried it with and without and there is no difference, atleast for me.
Working as intended.
This game probably works on everything and for everyone.
Sometimes I am able to connect to servers, however I don't see players in it. They are in leaderboard, but there is an X on ping icon and the whole map is "empty". Restarting the game a few times fixes this issue.
I had tried my ps5 controller, works without problems too, didn't experience any lags or bugs of any kind, atleast for now. It's already running on proton 10, which is nice, because lot of games (with anticheat) still don't work on that version.
PROTON_USE_EAC_LINUX=1 LD_PRELOAD="" %command% -dx11
Every time I shoot or see a enemy or even pick up something, my fps drops significaly (That means atleast 40FPS drop). If youre playing on 100FPS and more it's hardly noticable, because it wents up after like a half of second, however if you're playing on lower PC, this can affect your gameplay.
On any other proton versions than GE-Proton10-3 it was even worse, FPS dropping to 30 sometimes, which REALLY starting to affect gameplay.
On proton hotfix or GE-Proton9-27 it crashed even before connecting to game, however changing to GE-Proton10-3 fixes this issue.
However I would not recommend playing it without tinkering, or if your PC cannot get atleast 100FPS on low graphics. I need to say that besides the frequent lags (when you shoot, etc.) the games itself is optimized really good and runs really well. If you want your game to not freeze after like 30 mins, you should add -dx11 atribute, which fixes this issue.
High graphics, 1080p without any problems.
This game will easily run on any device which isn't from '90. + It's native :)
Old and death, but still good. Running without problems.
My first game on linux EVER. Still working to this date, but nobody playing it ;(...
Not working, atleast on bazzite KDE plazma
I tried the KDE plazma wallpaper plugin for linux, however after 2 hours of trying all possible combinations of versions I said to myself it's just not working. Bummer, but i'm pretty sure there must be another way (and probably even free one) to use animated wallpapers on linux.
