PC version is better than XBox since it has better controls

Tinker Steps:Launcher: Heroic Game Launcher, Switch to older version: 8.0-2

This is really a GOG installing report. Lutris installer requires "Bonus DLC + Hotfix" which I tried but installer failed, leading to forced abort. Heroic Installer works and works very if you install with that launcher and use Proton 8.0. It's easier to change video with in-game menu than configuration tool.

mostly use Proton instead of native Linux to login to Paradox account. later Proton versions have better pixel-like retro graphics.

Attempting to launch game with default proton or Proton 8 crashed. Only launching with Proton 7 allowed the EA launcher to be installed to launch the game.

Recommended proton didn't work as well as forcing Proton 8.0-4. With 8.0-4 it worked perfectly. There was slight Steam popup incompatibility with whatever was recommended.
