Today's update included EAC, which does not work under Proton. This game will not work until EAC supports Proton or Fall Guys removes EAC.

Multiplayer works with no issues. Controller worked without any special configuration.
No tweaks were required, game plays great with nvidia beta drivers. It does crash when trying to exit the game, but otherwise has been stable since the latest patch.
I get about 70fps on the settings the game chose by default for my GTX 1080. No obvious issues in multiplayer. Did crash once during loading but I don't know if that's wine's fault or the game itself.
install vcrun2022
Protontricks is easy enough to install via flatpak these days and it "just works" once you install vcrun2022.
Played single and multiplayer without issue. alt-tab works fine, performance is great.
