Game installation is better managed with XIVLauncher, which also includes a Wine customized for the game. Avoid the flatpak as it may cause slowdown due to the sandboxed environment.

Eventual crashes, they did not happen often for me.
Runs fine with little to no changes. It may sometimes crash or have glitches, but doesn't impact gameplay experience, still runs better than on native.
