This played just as if it a native build for Linux. No issues at all that I've experienced over the past year playing this game.
The only lag/connectivity issues I had was from Ninja Kiwi's servers/my internet, nothing at all having to do with linux.
After over a year playing this game, and over 450 hours, this game has ran flawlessly and I can't remember seeing a single issue that was due to using Linux.
Multiplayer finally works on linux with this game as of time of writting. There is an issue where you have to select Anti-Cheat disabled for the anti cheat to actually be enabled for some reason, but apart from that bug everything works perfectly. I'm able to play online, rank up, and seemingly everything else a person can do on windows
After over a year of promising to deliver on online play, it finally arrives. You can now play with people online without any issues. Acheivements and xp is also working as expected now. Be sure to launch the game with Anti-Cheat Disabled however to actually enable the anti-cheat as that's a current bug at the time of writting.
Works Flawlessly. No bugs, errors, crashes, glitches, or anything.
Playing this game under linux feels like it's a native build of it. Everything worked flawlessly without any bugs.
Great game with only one major graphical bug that might drive some linux players to avoid it
When in full screen, the game flickers in and out to the application "behind" the game. i.e. if you launched the game form your desktop it flickers to your desktop. If you launch it from your steam library your steam library will flicker to your steam library
It runs almost flawlessly on linux, however at least with my setup (rx6700 using Plasma (Wayland)), the flickering to the application "behind" the game is really annoying. If you want the fullscreen experience though you can simply just adjust the window size to the size of your screen though and that removes the flickering bug. Apart from that it runs flawlessly with no other real bug or error that I could find.
