I tried disabling esync, it made it more stuttery and that's all... other wise, chnage the CPU setting to REDUCED and lowering the render distance helps a lot with performance consistancy. Also, limiting fps to 71 helps to have smaller frame drops so a more comfortable gameplay.
I played only UAC a few times in arcade mode but it goes pretty well. I had problems after lowering the quality, nothing major, I just had kinds of outlines without textures on the ground but that could be because I disabled AA entirely.
Might need some tweaking but it's very comfortable to play. Animations are great, performance is good. Can't complain much.
Cannot sync with SteamCloud but it might just be proton that doesn't sync.
It launches and plays but there are micro-freezes and some freezes throughout the game. Didn't try any tweaks yet
Launch option "PROTON_USE_D9VK=1 %command% /win" having it in windowed mode improves the performance and reduces freezes or completely eliminates them (in my case, that's pretty much the last one)
the game can be played just fine but i did find myself thinking i have to play the rolled back version when i just had to alt-tab.
the linux paradox launcher crashes starting stellaris 3.9.3 alt-tabbing to the game without interracting with the crash reporter will allow you to play, seemingly without issues.
The game is practically impossible to play because of frequent crashes triggering a GPU reset.
gamescope -f -- %command%
mousewheel is kind of janky
Practically impossible to play
Crashes trigger a GPU reset which requires a full system reboot
micro-stuttering depending on ping
