- use Proton Experimental
- Launch game
- login screen will be invisible
Close game
Properties
- in General, disable:
- "Enable the Steam Overlay..."
- "Use Desktop Game Theatre...
Go to Desktop Mode
Install/run ProtonUp-Qt from "Discover"
- "Add Version"
- 'Compatibility Tool' select "GE-Proton"
- 'Version' select "Proton-6.21-GE-2"
- "Install," watch progress bar for completion.
- once complete close ProtonUp-Qt
Delete steam/steamapps/compatdata/962130
Switch to Gaming Mode
In settings for Grounded, click Properties
- in "Launch Options:" gamemoderun mangohud %command%
- use "Proton-6.21-GE-2"
- Launch Grounded
- if it doesn't launch, restart Steam Deck
- launch, log into XBox profile
- DO NOT START PLAYING, close the game
- in Settings for Grounded, click Properties
- "Launch Options," delete: gamemoderun mangohud %command%
- set Proton to Experimental
- GOOD TO GO!
