The rename Launcher.exe to Launcherold.exe, then rename Borderlands.exe to Launcher.exe worked perfectly for me. No stuttering or audio issues for me.

Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: Proton 9.0-4, Set launch options
--launcher-skip
Been benchmarking the game for a few days now, just started playing today. Tired running it out of the box, but just crashed. Went into game's settings and had it run on Proton 9.0-4. Now, lauches and runs like a champ. Just run --launcher-skip to have it skip loading the Cyberpunk 2077 launcher on boot. WIth that, loads straight into the game.

Got Doom running out of the box after installing Proton. Tried running game through Vulcan, but just crashes on startup. No worries. Plays just fine in Open GL on high, getting 80 fps on average.
