Works just like in Windows.
The "Enemy" indicator at the bottom of the screen is shifted too far to the left. However, this bug is also present in Windows, so it's not a Linux/Proton specific bug.
Works Perfectly
Each icon for the buttons on the controller were incorrect. I was able to use the in-game settings to map the controls to my controller, but the D-Pad axes were displayed incorrectly. This didn't affect anything in the gameplay.
The only problem I had was with the visuals for the controller mapping being messed up, but once I got around it, I was able to play the game as usual.
Works Perfectly
The visual controller bug I had was recently fixed, so it is no longer an issue. The game runs without any problems.
No Tinkering Needed
"Options" in Shadow Generations crashes the game
Sonic X Shadow Generations works mostly perfectly. The only issue I encountered was opening the Options menu in Shadow Generations, which crashes the game.
DXVK_FRAME_RATE=60 %command%
I was able to 100% the game without experiencing any Linux-related bugs.
If your monitor's refresh rate is greater than 60 fps, the game will run too quickly. This can be fixed with the "DXVK_FRAME_RATE" launch option.
The SA2 Mod Manager works perfectly under Wine. To install mods with the "one-click" feature, I used the one-click URL as a command-line argument for the Mod Loader; in my Linux terminal, I typed: "wine SA2ModManager.exe (One-Click Link)" in the game's directory where the mod loader was.
There were some issues with lighting on the higher graphics settings.
There were framerate issues and slowdowns on the higher graphics settings.
I was able to play the entire game without any game-breaking problems. The issues for slowdown and lighting were fixed when changing the in-game graphics to Low instead of High.
Runs Perfectly Without Any Tinkering
I was able to launch and play the games in the collection without any issues in both Anniversary Mode and Classic Mode. The side modes (mission mode, story mode, museum) also work without any problems.
The Online Battle Mode doesn't work.
Sonic Superstars runs properly in both singleplayer and local co-op modes. Sometimes the game wouldn't launch after starting it. To fix this, I used the 'ps' command to search for the Epic services, and manually killed it. The game launched after doing this. The online Battle Mode doesn't work, most likely because of Epic Online Services.
No Configuration Needed
I was able to play the game without having to configure anything.
