I had only 40fps, however problem was related to package libx11, after downgrading back to 1.8.2-2 I got ~50-100 more fps than on Windows 10.
The problem is not related to the game, however you have to use a command-line tool to downgrade a package.
Go to the game directory.
Copy FallGuys/EasyAntiCheat/easyanticheat_x64.so to FallGuys/FallGuys_client_game_Data/Plugins/x86_64/easyanticheat_x64.so.
Change the following value in FallGuys/FallGuys_client.ini to TargetApplicationPath=FallGuys_client_game.exe.
In Heroic Launcher enable Easy Anti Cheat for Fall Guys and select GE-Proton 7-29.
300fps in game, however display output seems to only be 60Hz (maybe due to second lower refresh rate monitor)
Native Linux support ended, full proton-ge support
The game starts in full-screen, however only renders in front of the window-manager after alt-tabbing twice.
