It was working on Native like two days ago. I'm not sure what happened since then, probably a steam client update or something. I also tried launching from Proton Experimental and Proton 7.0-6 and got to the main menu but after pressing "JOIN GAME" when queuing, the game crashes.

I couldn't boot at first so I replaced the libtcmalloc_minimal.so.4 file in "Team Fortress 2/bin/" with the one from OpenSuse Leap community repos version 2.9.1 from some random Reddit thread, you'll find it. Just rename it to "libtcmalloc_minimal.so.4" just like in TF2s files and replace it.
64bit doesn't boot at all

It worked at some points, but it was super laggy to the point of freezing and only getting like 2 frames before ultimately freezing my whole PC when I got into an actual game. Nothing works. Not even going to flatpak Steam worked. I am tired.
It works well on Desktop mode as it should if you have the hardware, otherwise, you're going to need a more powerful GPU for VR mode, even using ALVR on a Quest1/2. I've had significant performance loss playing on Linux versus Win10. Having a PCVR headset would be handy for any VR game under Linux.
