Counter-Strike 2
Even with gamescope config, the gameplay is not ideal. Significant FPS drops, input delay, and overall lags.
Tinker Steps:Set launch options
gamescope -w 1280 -h 960 -S stretch -e -f -r 75.0 --force-grab-cursor --adaptive-sync --immediate-flips -- %command%
Audio:Crackling, Out Of Sync
SFX usually plays out of sync. Audio crackles especially upon starting up.
Performance:Significant Performance Problems
Significant FPS dips
Before adding gamescope, the mouse would be incredibly fiddly on Wayland. The launch config should fix that, if you are running Wayland and have gamescope installed. Despite this, the game is not smooth at all. Wait for Source 2 to officially support Wayland (found this info in the cs2.sh file)
