Game appears to be borked. Have tried Proton: Default, Proton Experimental, GE-Proton7-50, Proton 7.0-6. DX11 and DX12 Everspace version: current and experimental beta Can install VC++ redistributables, but game crashes after splash screen to UE4 error page with no details.

Needed to fully uninstall and reinstall to get the game to get past the intro splash screen and to the menu.
Needed to uninstall and reinstall to fix startup crash bug. Running on Proton 8.0-1 with DX11. Now runs without any issues.
