Native is fine, but Proton is better
Native works fine out of the box. But as soon as mods are installed, all audio except the intro animation will be lost. So I suggest switching/using Proton instead of the native build.
Game runs perfectly fine without any extra work, be aware of some crashes when alt-tab or letting the game run
When going idle/suspend, frames drop massively and requires a restart. Game seem to crash when there's too many entities or alt-tabbing.
Desync
Stuck on drop loading screen when partying with a windows player, unable to interact with anything for a short~medium period of time, unable to ready up/ready'd up not being valid on host's game, unable to start the lobby as host at random.
Remember to get the R18 patch in the DLC section of the store
Minor screen freeze (maybe around 0.3 seconds) when transitioning between scenes
I've encountered some bug here and there, but I am almost certain this is due to the early access nature of the game rather than a proton issue. Other than that, I see no major issues runing the game via proton.
Game crashes when switching to animated scenes
I didn't experience any major drop in fps even when playing on the high and very high graphics settings. Game loaded and ran fine, the only problem that occured was during a scene change to an animated one, that seem to have crashed the game; a black transition screen with only the background music playing. Could also be a graphic setting issue.
As of writing, the crash when it comes to scene changes seems to have been fixed. I was able to get it run successfully almost every time if you wait a couple of seconds in the black screen before clicking to continue. For me, this worked about 90% of the time in my 25 trial runs, so I'd say it's pretty consistent.
The blackscreen crash is fixed. I'm able to run the game very smoothly on very high with no slowdown and no visible drop in fps, running on ultra is a little slower but I am sure that is just a hardware issue.
As far as I am aware, this game is perfectly functional in every aspect.
Crashes from time to time during the transition to sex scenes if you spam click during the black screen
Plays perfectly fine with no additional tweaks
Matching is not a problem, though the other problems I did have is not due to the game itself (e.g. bots)
